My First Impression Of The Class Assignments

What assignments are you most intrigued by?

I have read the list of class assignments that we will have to complete this semester in Multimedia and I am very interested in all of them ! I am really looking forward to trying the Unity 3D Tutorials and finding out how to create a game. I am also looking forward to writing and adding to my blog because I am really enjoying doing this so far. I also like the idea that we will be giving each other feedback during this module. This will give us a chance to learn from each other. I think it will be good for us to read each other’s blogs too and leave comments. It’s a nice idea for us to learn more about one another and become a closer group.

On the other hand I am not very excited for the reading tasks as i’m not a big reader and would prefer watching a video to get information rather than reading a long paragraph but I will be interested to see what I can learn and if I can make myself love reading!

How is this like/unlike what you have done in other classes?

This class is laid out so well, every single task from week 1 to 12 is set out already. I think it is amazing. I get very stressed when something is not set out and I can’t see what I am supposed to be working towards, having the class website is really good and I wish every module had a Shaun who would lay the whole module out for us in simple terms. I like the idea that we can move on if we are faster than others,  we can progress at our own pace and this is what I like. Even though there is due dates it feels more enjoyable to complete tasks because I know exactly what to do instead of them feeling like a chore. Each task is clearly laid out word for word and this makes it easier for me to understand. I also find the declaration under ever task very helpful as it makes sure that you have completed the task right.

Are there any extra credit options that grab your attention?

Definitely ! I will be trying to do as much of the extra credit options as possible and love that there is this option. The option about Growth Mindset has already caught my eye! As well as the tech tasks and extra comments.

I am a huge fan of quotes as you will tell over this semester so I decided to include this one in my blog. This is such a lovely quote and is going to be the one i remind myself of throughout this year, I can do anything, but not everything..

I am very excited to see how this semester goes !
