Reading task week 15 - Doing
I knew before starting this week’s reading task that I would struggle with it. As anyone who read my blogs from last semester will know I don't like reading and don't like reading academic sources at all. I found all of the information provided in the lecture sessions very useful however, it was great to learn how to properly use the TUD library website to search the databases for useful sources. Last week I choose my topic and came up with keywords that would help me when looking through the databases, I found these keywords very useful and helped narrow the search down to find exactly what I needed. This week I found 4 academic sources that I thought would be useful in my project and one website as well. I added these to RefWorks, I found RefWorks really helpful in the process of analysing them.

I found creating the annotated bibliographies hard enough and constantly kept doubting them and wondered was I putting in enough about the source and if they were correct. I had a search online and came across a site that explained what should go into an annotated bibliography so this is what I based mine off (https://www.lib.sfu.ca/help/cite-write/citation-style-guides/annotated-bibliography) I found it hard to analyse the papers strengths and weaknesses too. All in all I found this week quite hard, but have hopefully found some sources that will prove useful for my project and that I can use as part of my research.
Here is a link to my google doc which is where I am going to be putting all of my research for this writing project. Included are my annotated bibliographies that I created this week. (doc is a work in progress)
